Elul - the Hebrew month before Rosh HaShanah - is a time for spiritual preparation. We are meant to begin taking an account of our souls, thinking about the moments we missed the mark, and how we can do better in the coming year. This year, we are offering space to start doing this work together. We will discuss themes of the High Holidays, explore the theological implications of the prayers, and start our own reflections. Our 3rd session will be a Selichot service, traditionally observed the Saturday night before Rosh Hashanah. That evening we will air our collective concerns and offer confessional prayers as a community. We hope you will join us!
